,,,,~ Page 1 of 1
Marie Gallo
From: Pam Donzelli [guiness1963@yahoo.com]
Sent: Monday, September 20, 2010 11:04 PM r
To: gallom@north-olmsted.com
Subject: Breeding Law
To the Honorable Members of North Olmsted City Council and the Honorable
Mayor Kennedy,
I wish to express my opinion concerning the proposed breeding law to
Mayor Kennedy and the North Olmsted City Council. I also wish to have my
letter read in the next City Council session. I was in attendance at the last City
Council session in support of my veterinarian, Dr. Lori Hunt DVM and now, all
other responsible dog breeders that reside in the city of North Olmsted. As an
observer, I heard no argument or complaint in conjunction with dog breeding in
particular that justified penalizing upstanding residents of the city. I only heard
issues discussed that should and could be handled through existing city
ordinances. I do not believe that City Council wishes to punish responsible
dog breeders because of an isolated incident or two, especially those that
have no prior violations or complaints with the city or it's residents. If nothing
else, it is my hope that the City Council will at least work with the current dog
breeding residents in protecting their freedom to pursue their livelihood. Thank
you for your sincere consideration in this matter.
Respectfully,
Pam Donzelli
Westlake
9/21 /2010
