Council Minutes of 09-08-2010 <br />Ordinance 2010-106 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 131.99 of Chapter 131 of the Administrative Code entitled <br />"Mayor" in order to designate the position of Event Coordinator within the Division of <br />Springvale as a full time position, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker <br />made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Jones and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Jones and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />2010-106 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2010-107 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 167.99 of Chapter 167 of the Administrative Code entitled <br />"Department of Human Resources" in order to eliminate the position of full time <br />Secretary and to create the position of part time Outreach Case Manager within the <br />Division of Youth and Family Services, to designate the position of Activities <br />Coordinator as full time, and further to designate the positions of Title III-C Program <br />Manager and Title III-C Nutrition Aide(s) within the Division of Aging as part time <br />positions, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend <br />the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Jones and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilwoman Jones and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2010-107 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2010-108 introduced by Council members Kearney, Jones and Brossard was <br />given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 505.08 of Chapter 505 of the <br />General Offenses Code entitled "Animals and Fowl" in order to restrict the breeding of <br />dogs that may be kept on residential lots in the City, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2010-109 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a three (3) year contract with Great Lakes <br />Publishing for the purpose of publishing and distributing an annual magazine about the <br />City of North Olmsted to North Olmsted residents. Councilman Barker made a motion to <br />suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Mahoney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-109 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution 2010-110 introduced by Mayor Kennedy and Councilman Barker was given <br />its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with <br />Great Lakes Billing Associates, Inc. to perform billing and collection services for <br />emergency medical and ambulance transportation services as provided by the City, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule <br />requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2010-110 adopted. <br />10 <br />
