Council Minutes of 07-20-2010 North Olmsted to Article III, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to clarify restrictions on other employment and holding other public office by the Mayor, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-84 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IV, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to permit the President of Council to recommend and introduce legislation and to participate in a discussion on all matters coming before Council, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-85 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IX, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to change the primary election to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in September, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-86 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article IX, Section 4 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to change the process for electing at large Council representatives, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-87 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article V, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to require that the Director of Finance be at all times a Certified Public Accountant, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-88 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article V, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to require the Director of Law to perform all other duties now or hereinafter imposed by Council or the Mayor consistent with the duties of the office of Director of Law, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-89 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the submission of an amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted to Article XVI, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to allow for an administrative process to remove gender references from the Charter, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2010-90 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
