Council Minutes of 09-20-2011 <br />Resolution 2011-94 introduced by Councilman Schumann was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2012, all money due and owing said city from any <br />collection source. <br />Resolution 2011-95 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-95 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-96 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with an RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Johnson, Miller & Schmitz LLP providing for the latter to continue to serve <br />as the City's labor negotiator, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2011-97 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development to make <br />application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for participation in the Ohio Public <br />Works Commission ("OPWC") State Capital and Local Transportation Improvement <br />Programs for the purpose of obtaining financial assistance for the Wastewater System <br />Improvements Project and further authorizing the Mayor to accept said assistance if <br />awarded and to execute contract documents with OPWC as necessary, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Orlowski made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Orlowski moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-97 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-98 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase one (1) new Ford E-450 Cutaway Mounted <br />Mainline TV Inspection Truck for the Department of Public Service through the State <br />Purchase Program; further authorizing the Mayor to execute necessary contract <br />documents; and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend <br />the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann <br />and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2011-98 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance 2011-74 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 915.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted to establish revised charges for the use of the municipal sanitary sewer system; <br />repealing existing Section 915.04 of the Codified Ordinances; and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />6 <br />
