Councilman Mahoney made a motion to approve CMS11-08 First Federal of Lakewood. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. CMS 11-08 First Federal of Lakewood approved. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to approve CMS 10-06 Elevate North Church extended conditional use permit. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. CMS 10-06 Elevate North Church conditional use permit year extension approved. Councilwoman Williamson took a moment of personal privilege to thank all of the troop leaders that attended this evening and all that they do for future community leaders. She admires the dedication and commitment involved in being a troop leader as well as their community service and events they participate in. Councilman. Schumann, Chairman of the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee: The Intra-Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 8:08 p.m. Present were committee members Schumann, Williamson and Mahoney; President Limpert; Council members Barker, Kearney and Orlowski; Law Director Gareau; Finance Director Copfer; Planning/Development Director Wenger; Public Works Commissioner Ritenauer and guests. The committee interviewed the following Mayoral appointments: Scott Thomas, Director of Safety/Service; Barb Schirhart, Cultural Activities Commission; Brian Walsh, Landmarks Commission; Bob Papotto, Board of Building Code Appeals. Councilman Schumann made a motion to approve the appointment of Scott Thomas to the position of Director of Public Safety and Service. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Scott Thomas appointed to Director of Public Safety & Service. Councilman Schumann made a motion to approve the appointment of Barb Schirhart to the Cultural Activities Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously.
