The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2011-39. Discussed next was Ordinance 2011-40 which is an Ordinance amending Section 139.99 of Chapter 139 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Public Safety" in order to create the position of Administrative Assistant within the Division of Fire, and declaring an emergency. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2011-40. Discussed last was Ordinance 2011-41 which is an Ordinance amending Section 167.99 of Chapter 167 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Human Resources" in order to create the position of Help Desk Coordinator within the Division of Information Technology, and declaring an emergency. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2011-41. Councilman Mahoney, Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development Committee: The BZD Committee met Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 8:45 p.m. Present were committee members Mahoney, Kearney and Barker; Council President Limpert; Council members Orlowski, Schumann and Williamson; Mayor Kennedy and Planning and Development Director Wenger. • Discussed was Ordinance 2011-54 which is an Ordinance amending Building Code Section 1345.05 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted to incorporate the 2006 International Residential Code standards for residential pools, and declaring an emergency. A presentation was given by Wenger, and the overall idea of this Ordinance is to promote safety and safety-related measures for residential pools and Homeowners' Associations that operate pools. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2011-54. The BZD Committee met Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss CMS 11-04 Halleen Kia located at 27932 Lorain Road. This proposal consists of building and site improvements to accommodate the new Halleen Kia dealership which was previously Halleen Chevrolet. The committee voted 3-0 for approval of CMS 11-04 Halleen Kia. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to approve CMS 11-04 Halleen Kia with conditions contained in the Planning and Design Commission report. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. CMS11-04 Halleen Kia located at 27932 Lorain Road approved. Councilman Mahoney scheduled a Public Hearing for Ordinance 2011-25 for Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
