Council Minutes of 04-OS-2011 and Water Conservation District to provide Minimum Control Measures 1 & 2. Control Measures 1 & 2 consist of public education and public involvement. The SWCD will provide for this with information, prepared mailings, public awareness through posters at high traffic locations, and stormwater events consisting of spring clean-ups, workshops, etc.; newspaper articles; education events for schools. All of this will take place in the Rocky River Watershed. They will also help in the development of ordinances to promote BMP's at construction sites. The SWCD will also provide a written annual report to the City which the City will file as part of its annual report to the Ohio EPA. The committee voted 3-0 for approval of Resolution 2011-32. The meeting was adjourned at 7:04 p.m. Councilman Mahoney, Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development Committee: The BZD Committee met Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members Mahoney, Kearney and Barker; Council President Limpert; Council members Brossard, Schumann, Orlowski and Williamson; Mayor Kennedy and Planning/Development Director Wenger. • American Radiator (CMS 11-01) -This is a conditional use permit for a automobile repair establishment located at 30514 Lorain Road. The future tenant indicated that the building will be used for afour-bay repair shop. There will be no painting or body work done at this particular location. The applicant proposed to make some site improvements including the striping of the parking lot and planting of additional evergreen trees along the north property line. Some minor property maintenance issues would also be addressed. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of CMS 11-01 American Radiator. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to approve CMS 11-01 American Radiator at 30514 Lorain Road with the conditions set forth by the Planning and Design Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. CMS11-O1 American Radiator approved. • Sunoco (CMS11-02) -This is a proposal that consists of a building addition and site improvements to the former Sunoco Gas Station located at Clague and Lorain Road, and for a new Sunoco Gas Station at that same location. The former auto service area will be converted and expanded. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of CMS11-02 Sunoco. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to approve CMS 11-02 Sunoco located at the Clague and Lorain intersection subject to the conditions set forth by the Planning and Design Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker. Roll Call: Mahoney, yes; Barker, yes with comment. After Mr. Mahoney's report and reviewing the plans and being in Ward II, this will be a very welcome new business at the corner of Clague and Lorain, and that corner will look better. I think hopefully it will spark some other business in that area to "spruce up" a little bit. I'm looking forward to seeing this 4
