Council Minutes of 03-OS-2013 ,,, Recreation Commission. Councilman Orlowski made a motion to recommend approval of the appointment of Vera Brewer to the Recreation Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend approval of the appointment of Vera Brewer to the Recreation Commission. Councilman Orlowski made a motion to approve the appointment of Vera Brewer to the Recreation Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Vera Brewer appointed to the Recreation Commission for the unexpired term of February 2013 through December 31, 2015. Councilman Kearney, Vice-Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development Committee: The BZD Committee met Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 7:15 p.m. Present were committee members Kearney and Barker; Council members Schumann and Brossard; Planning/Development Director Wenger and guests. • Discussed first was CMS 13-01 ULTA Beauty located at 28911 Great Northern Shopping Center. The proposal consists of a facade renovation of the Great Northern Plaza between the existing DSW and Five Below stores. Building changes include a new stone and brick facade with a clear aluminum storefront. The committee voted 2-0 to approve ULTA Beauty. a Councilman Kearney made a motion to approve CMS 13-01 ULTA Beauty located at 28911 Great Northern Shopping Center subject to the conditions and recommendations set forth by the Planning and Design Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. CMS13-O1 ULTA Beauty approved. • Discussed last was CMS13-03 Bob Evans located on Lorain Road. This proposal consists of building changes including a new and larger entrance, altering trim, replacing columns and changing the paint color for a portion of the building from red to grey. The committee voted 2-0 to approve Bob Evans. Councilman Kearney made a motion to approve CMS13-03 Bob Evans located at 25853 Lorain Road subject to the conditions and recommendations set forth by the Planning and Design Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. CMS 13-03 Bob Evans approved. Councilman Brossard, Chairman of the Streets & Transportation Committee: The Streets & Transportation Committee met Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 7:20 p.m. Present were committee members Brossard, Orlowski and Williamson; Council members Barker, Schumann and Kearney; Safety/Service Director Thomas and the City Engineer. • Discussed first was Resolution 2013-23 which is a Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to ' provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the city, 4
