Council Minutes of 03-OS-2013 recommended to not object to the liquor permit. The matter passed with a vote of 2-0. Councilman Schumann made a motion to not object to liquor permit no. 6071207, for MLB Enterprises LTD, dba Stop on Inn located at 29352 Lorain Road. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Liquor permit 6071207 Stop on Inn approved. • The final item on the agenda was the continuation of discussions for Ordinance 2013-17 which establishes section 505.19 "Domestic Farm Animals Prohibited" of Chapter 505 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. The legislation was once again held in committee. Final discussions regarding this ordinance will be held at the Public Safety meeting scheduled for Monday, March 11, 2013 at 7:00 pm. Amore detailed report will be provided at the next Council meeting upon conclusion of this discussion. The Public Safety Committee meeting adjourned at 8:51 pm. Mayor Kennedy said regarding Councilman Brossard's report, he doesn't want to give the impression that they are cutting back on crack sealing. They aren't doing that at all. The fact of the matter is, if any crack sealing needs to be done in the city it will be done. What the Safety/Service Director Thomas was saying was that the city spends this amount of money crack sealing Butternut Ridge Road. If we pave it, we won't need to spend that money. If there is any crack sealing that needs to be done in the city, it will certainly get done. The money the city is saving on crack sealing is because the city is paving the road to which the city would have spent money crack sealing. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION Mark Owens, 22315 Detroit Road, Rocky River came before Council as Chairman of the Gaelic Games. He recently became a U.S. Citizen. He thanked Council and the Administration for giving him the opportunity to speak. Whatever the decision be tonight on his request, he appreciates all of the help from the Mayor, Administration and Council. Mayor Kennedy thanked Owens for contacting him and bringing the games to North Olmsted. LEGISLATION Ordinance 2013-13 introduced by Councilman Barker on behalf of himself and the entire city Council was given its third reading. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for the elected officials of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office commencing January 1, 2014 and ending December 31, 2017 and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Schumann commented that he voted against this Ordinance in committee. He wants to make it clear that he didn't vote against it because he disagreed with the numbers in regard to his colleagues and the Law 6
