Council Minutes of 03-OS-2013 <br />,~,~ Director. He feels they could have treated the full-time elected officials better. <br />Ordinance 2013-13 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2013-18 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and <br />Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to <br />implement adesign/build selection process for the award of a contract to design and <br />install a communication tower at the municipal complex to provide for public safety and <br />service radio antennas, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control, to contract for the same with the successful applicant. Councilman Barker <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance 2013-18 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2013-19 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and <br />Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP <br />process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick Picard <br />Architect, Inc., to provide architectural services for the renovation of the North Olmsted <br />Police Station, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance 2013-19 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2013-20 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and <br />Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Section 957.01 of <br />Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted in order to permit beer to be sold and consumed at the Gaelic <br />Games to be held at Barton Bradley Park over Labor Day weekend in 2013 as a one-time <br />event. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-20 adopted. <br />Resolution 2013-22 introduced by Councilman Orlowski was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month in the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2013-23 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in <br />the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control to contract for the <br />same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2013-24 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br />best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />7 <br />
