Ordinance 2013-18 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to implement adesign/build selection process for the award of a contract to design and install a communication tower at the municipal complex to provide for public safety and service radio antennas, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the successful applicant. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-18 adopted. Ordinance 2013-19 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc., to provide architectural services for the renovation of the North Olmsted Police Station, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-19 adopted. Ordinance 2013-20 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to permit beer to be sold and consumed at the Gaelic Games to be held at Barton Bradley Park over Labor Day weekend in 2013 as a one-time event. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-20 adopted. Resolution 2013-22 introduced by Councilman Orlowski was given its second reading. A Resolution proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month in the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-23 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-24 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. 7
