Council Minutes of 12-18-2012 ;~_ Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2013, and declaring an emergency. ,~,,. This Ordinance outlines the 2013 budget. Amendments included changes to the debt service and various funds. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend approval of Ordinance 2012-124 Councilman Schumann made a motion to amend Ordinance 2012-124. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-124 amended. Councilman Schumann took a moment of personal privilege to wish Council President Limpert well. Councilman Orlowski, Chairman of the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee: The Intra-Governmental Relations Committee met Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 7:20 p.m. Present were committee members Orlowski, Mahoney and Williamson; Council President Limpert; Council members Brossard and Schumann; Mayor Kennedy, Finance Director Copfer, Safety/Service Director Thomas and guests. • The committee was to review a list of two new appointments and twelve reappointments to various boards and commissions. One new appointment is an appointment of a current member of the Board of Building Code Appeals, David Anderson, to an unexpired term vacancy on the Planning and Design ~, Commission. The new appointment to the Board of Building Code Appeals is Mary Ellen Hemann. She was unable to attend the meeting due to a previous commitment. Her resume outlining her education and work experience is well adapted to the work of the Board, as they review appeals to our local Code restrictions. About 90% of the reviews are placements of a fence next to or close to an existing fence. I personally spoke with her and discussed her resume and work experience. I believe she will be a good addition to this Board. The Chairman made a motion to recommend approval to all of Council, Mary Ellen Hemann to an unexpired term of 2011 through 2015 on the Board of Building Code Appeals. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson, and the committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of the appointment. The Chairman made a motion to recommend to all of Council all of the reappointments and the one new appointment of a current member of the Board of Building Code Appeals to a new Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson, and the committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of the reappointments and one new appointment.
