Council Minutes of 12-18-2012 <br />.~. especially in regards to the pay increases for our non-bargaining personnel. So, my vote <br />:~,, is yes with the slight objection that I oppose the Mayor's Court as I stated. Ordinance <br />2012-123 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-124 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2013, as amended. Councilman <br />Schumann made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Schuman moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance 2012-124 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-127 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase one rescue squad fire apparatus for the <br />North Olmsted Fire Department through the State Purchase Program; further authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute necessary contract documents; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-127 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-129 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />,,~ Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into one-year renewal contracts with TAC <br />Computer, Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware <br />~ and software in both the North Olmsted Police and Fire Departments, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Barker recommended amulti-year contract for the future instead of an <br />annual contract. Resolution 2012-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-130 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with an RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Solar Testing Laboratories, Inc. t provide construction materials and special <br />inspection services for Phase II of the Waste Water Treatment Plant and Collection <br />System Project, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann made a motion to <br />suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-130 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-131 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
