Council Minutes of 11-07-2012 <br />,.,~,, Ordinance 2012-103 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />;,,ter Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $115,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing <br />computer hardware and software, together with necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-103 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-105 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies <br />with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim <br />account of the city, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Schumann <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance 2012-105 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-106 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city <br />as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said stone, after Board of Control <br />approval, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />2012-106 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-107 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of 5,000 tons of asphalt materials for various Service Department needs <br />throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said materials, after <br />Board of Control approval, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2012-107 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-108 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted City <br />School District to establish mutual rights and responsibilities for the use of public <br />facilities and assets, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson. Roll Call: <br />Mahoney, yes; Williamson, yes; Barker, yes; Orlowski, no; Brossard, yes; Schumann, <br />yes; Kearney, yes. Resolution 2012-108 adopted 6-1. <br />Resolution 2012-109 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to solicit bids for the rental of golf carts and other <br />vehicles for Springvale, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said <br />vehicle rentals, subject to approval by the Board of Control, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-109 adopted. <br />6 <br /> <br />
