Council Minutes of 10-23-2012 <br />Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker <br />`~~~ moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance 2012-89 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-90 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $415,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring fire apparatus <br />and related equipment for the city's Fire Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-90 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-91 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $335,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing <br />computer hardware and software, together with the necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker indicated that he is <br />in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Councilman Barker made a motion to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />2012-91 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-92 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $270,000 to provide funds to pay costs of improving the golf course <br />at the city's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility by renovating, reshaping and <br />otherwise improving bunkers and greens and otherwise improving the course, in each <br />case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-92 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $235,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring a sewer cleaner <br />truck and chassis and all necessary appurtenances and related equipment, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney and passed unanimously.
