Council Minutes of 10-23-2012 <br />Ordinance 2012-94 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $165,000 to provide funds to pay costs of improving the city's <br />Recreation Center by acquiring and installing new heating, ventilation and air <br />conditioning equipment and providing related piping, ductwork and wiring <br />improvements, together with .all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, <br />and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the <br />Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule <br />requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-94 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-95 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $130,000 to provide funds to pay costs of improving the City Hall <br />complex by preparing the surface of and surfacing and resurfacing parking areas and <br />sidewalks, constructing and reconstructing curbs and providing landscaping, together <br />with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-95 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-96 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $125,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring an aerator, <br />mowers, a sprayer and other equipment for use at the city's Springvale Golf Course and <br />Ballroom facility, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker indicated that he is <br />in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Councilman Barker made a motion to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-96 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-97 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $620,000 to provide funds to pay costs of improving Canterbury <br />Road, Columbia Road, East Park Drive, Gessner Road, Josephine Drive and Vita Lane, in <br />cooperation with Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by reconstructing and rehabilitating <br />the pavement base, constructing and reconstructing curbs and curb ramps and adjusting <br />catch basins, manholes and water valve and monument boxes, where necessary, preparing <br />the surface and resurfacing, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto. Councilman Barker indicated that he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's <br />Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2012-98 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading.
