Council Minutes of 04-03-2012 ,,_ to 2:00 p.m. they will have a community focus group at the North Olmsted Branch in the large meeting room and again on May 3, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. LEGISLATION Resolution 2012-20 introduced by Councilman Orlowski on behalf of himself and Councilman Barker was given its second reading. A Resolution in opposition to the State of Ohio pursuing control of municipal income tax collection and declaring an emergency, as amended. Ordinance 2012-25 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance enacting new Chapter 944 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, entitled "Indigent Burial". Resolution 2012-30 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with MB3 Consulting LLC for the purpose of providing economic development consulting services to the city, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2012. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-34 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance compensating for and accepting permanent easements and temporary rights of entry for construction of storm culvert systems beneath Burns Road and on four properties located on Burns Road, Permanent Parcel Numbers 235-12-010, 235-12-011, 235-12-039 and 235-12-040, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously.
