Council Minutes of 04-03-2012 <br />,,_ to 2:00 p.m. they will have a community focus group at the North Olmsted Branch in the <br />large meeting room and again on May 3, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2012-20 introduced by Councilman Orlowski on behalf of himself and <br />Councilman Barker was given its second reading. A Resolution in opposition to the State <br />of Ohio pursuing control of municipal income tax collection and declaring an emergency, <br />as amended. <br />Ordinance 2012-25 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance enacting new Chapter 944 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, <br />entitled "Indigent Burial". <br />Resolution 2012-30 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one <br />year contract with MB3 Consulting LLC for the purpose of providing economic <br />development consulting services to the city, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution 2012-30 adopted, <br />Ordinance 2012-33 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2012. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br />formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-33 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-34 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance compensating for and accepting permanent easements and temporary rights of <br />entry for construction of storm culvert systems beneath Burns Road and on four <br />properties located on Burns Road, Permanent Parcel Numbers 235-12-010, 235-12-011, <br />235-12-039 and 235-12-040, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann made <br />a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-34 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
