Council Minutes of 02-19-2013 <br />service radio antennas, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control, to contract for the same with the successful applicant. <br />Ordinance 2013-19 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and <br />Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal <br />RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick <br />Picard Architect, Inc., to provide architectural services for the renovation of the North <br />Olmsted Police Station, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2013-20 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and <br />Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 957.01 <br />of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of North Olmsted in order to permit beer to be sold and consumed at the Gaelic <br />Games to be held at Barton Bradley Park over Labor Day weekend in 2013 as a one-time <br />event. <br />Resolution 2013-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Orlowski. <br />A Resolution proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month in the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2013-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in <br />the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control to contract for the <br />same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2013-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br />of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br />best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2013-25 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the Request for Qualifications (R.F.Q.) process required to <br />obtain the services of a Plans Examiner and Back-Up Plans Examiner and authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a three (3) year contract with Jeffrey Grusenmeyer as Plans <br />Examiner and Nick del Giudice as Back-Up Plans Examiner. <br />Resolution 2013-26 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a five (5) year contract with Automation <br />Mailing and Shipping Solutions to provide mailing and postage services for the City of <br />North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann made a motion to <br />suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was <br />~~ seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously.
