Council Minutes of 02-OS-2013 <br />,~,,, containment and restraint requirements and to substitute the Director of Public Safety for <br />{,, duties previously assigned to the Animal Warden, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Brossard made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-11 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2013-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Barker on <br />behalf of himself and Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to appropriations for current <br />expenses and other expenditures for the city of North Olmsted for the year ending <br />December 31, 2013, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2013-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Barker on <br />behalf of himself and the entire city Council. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the <br />compensation for the elected officials of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office <br />commencing January 1, 2014 and ending December 31, 2017 and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2013-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Williamson. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of State, County and <br />Municipal employees ("AFSCME"), Ohio Council 8, Local 2681 for the city's Service <br />.,~. Unit employees, for the period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2015 and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />collective bargaining agreement with the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association for <br />the city's Dispatcher employees for the period January 1, 2012 through December 31, <br />2014, and declaring an emergency.
