Council Minutes of 12/2/93 b. Resolution 93-150, which directs the County Auditor to pay to the city all tax money due and owing the city from arty collection source during the year 1994. The committee recommended approval. c. Ordinance 93-151, which authorizes the Mayor to deposit city fiuuis in banks within the city of North Olmsted. The committee recoim~nded approval. d. Ordinance 93-153, which confirms the exercise of option to purchase land for senior housing. The Finance Committee had some questions about this proposal, and it was discussed in caucus this evening. The majority of Council felt that the legislation should be approved. e. Ordinance 93-120, which is the temporary appropriation for 1994. The legislatioa~ was amended by tYie Finance Committee to ors-third of its original amount to provide for temporary funding for the first four months of 1994 and allow the committee time to study the line items. LEGISLATION Or finance No. 93-143 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for the installation of a "No Right Turn on Red" sign at Porter arul Butternut Ridge Roads regulating traffic travelling in a northerly direction on Porter Road and turning in an easterly direction on Butternut Ridge Road, anti declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Leonard; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance no. 93-143 adopted. Ordinance No. 93-144 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1994. Mr. Lind moved to table the ordinance; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-144 tabled. Ordinance No. 93-145 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the installation of a "No Right Turn on Red" sign at the intersection of Lorain and Claque Roads for traffic traveling in a westerly direction on Lorain Road and turning north onto Claque Road, between the hours of x:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar. Roll call: Lire., yes; Nashar, yes; Musial, yes; McKay, yes; Leonard, no; Bahas, yes. Motion passed with five affirmative votes and one negative vote. Ordinance No. 93-145 adopted. Ordinance No. 93-153 introduced by Mayor Boyle on behalf of himself and the entire Council was given its third reading. An ordinance confirming the exercise of option to purchase land. for senior housing ar~i authorizing the Mayor to proceed with the purchase of said land.
