Ordinance 93-153, which confirms the exercise of option to purchase land for <br />senior housing. The Finance Committee had some questions about this proposal, <br />and it was discussed in caucus this evening. The majority of Council felt that <br />the legislation should be approved. <br />e. Ordinance 93-120, which is the temporary appropriation for 1994. The <br />legislatioa~ was amended by tYie Finance Committee to ors-third of its original <br />amount to provide for temporary funding for the first four months of 1994 and <br />allow the committee time to study the line items. <br />Audience Partici~t_i~ on <br />Margaret McKay,r 519T Columbia Road, wanted to mention that Mr. and Mrs. Leonard <br />were co-chairpersons of the Lenihan Bereavement Room at St. Richard's Church. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Or finance No. 93-143 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by <br />providing for the installation of a "No Right Turn on Red" sign at Porter arul <br />Butternut Ridge Roads regulating traffic travelling in a northerly direction on <br />Porter Road and turning in an easterly direction on Butternut Ridge Road, anti <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Leonard; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance no. 93-143 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-144 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1994. Mr. Lind moved <br />to table the ordinance; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 93-144 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 93-145 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to <br />provide for the installation of a "No Right Turn on Red" sign at the intersection <br />of Lorain and Claque Roads for traffic traveling in a westerly direction on <br />Lorain Road and turning north onto Claque Road, between the hours of x:00 a.m. <br />and 6:00 p.m., and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second <br />by Mr. Nashar. Roll call: Lire., yes; Nashar, yes; Musial, yes; McKay, yes; <br />Leonard, no; Bahas, yes. Motion passed with five affirmative votes and one <br />negative vote. An ordinance confirming the exercise <br />of option to purchase land. for senior housing ar~i authorizing the Mayor to <br />proceed with the purchase of said land.
