Council Mirnites of 12/7/93 <br />LEGISLATION (continued) <br />Reso ution No. - was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. <br />A resolution directing the Mayor to file the required farm with the Federal <br />Communications Commission for the purpose of exercising regulatory jurisdiction <br />with respect to rates charged for basic cable television. Mrs. Bahamg moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Lind; motion <br />passed unanimously. Mrs. Babas moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-147 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 93.148 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of himself, the entire Council and Mayor Boyle. A resolution approving the <br />resolution of the joint NOAGA-and AMATS Motor Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance <br />Policy Committee to request Ohio EPA to i~ement the enhanced tailpipe test in <br />the counties of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage anti Summit and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and eo~ittee review; second by Mr. 'Lind; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 93-148 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-149 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 911.07 entitled "Building Sewers and Cormections" of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 93-150 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 1994, all tax money due and owing said city from <br />any collection source. <br />Ordinance No. 93-151 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public <br />monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active <br />and interim account. of the city. <br />'~ Ordinance No. 93-153 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. An ordinance confirming the exercise of <br />option to purchase land for senior housing and authorizing the Mayor to proceed <br />with the purchase of said land. <br />Ordinance No. 93-1.54 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on <br />behalf of himself acid the entire Council. An ordinance providing for the amend- <br />ment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by changing the parcels of real <br />property, as hereinafter described, located at the northwest corner of Dover <br />Center and Lorain Roads, in the City of North Olmsted, from General Retail <br />Business District to Office Building District. <br />Ordinance No. 93-155 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. An ordinance providing for the amend- <br />ment of the Zone Map of ~~the City of North Olmsted by changing the parcel of real <br />property identified as Block A on the Ciru~nan Woods Subdivisioa~ preliminary <br />land use plan and located on the west side of Barton Road near the entrance to <br />Cirmamon Woods in the City of North Olmsted, from Mixed Use "B" District to "B" <br />One Family Residence District. <br />4 <br /> <br />
