Council Minutes of 7/6/93 <br />'~ b. National City Bank, 4608 Great Northern Blvd., a propose]. to install an auto- <br />matic teller machine in the parking lot. Present were Greg McKee from General <br />Service Co., Diek Jacquem~tte from NCB and architect Dick Mtmgello. A variance <br />was granted by BZA on May 6 with regard to signage anti cars. The plan was <br />approved by Platming Commission on May 11 and ARB on May 19. The committee had <br />no objection; however, an engineering update has been rex~ueeted. Mrs. Beringer <br />moved to approve with the approval of ARB, Planning 'Ccxmaiasan, 1~ngi~':ering <br />Department and the BZD Committee; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimmously. <br />c. Metro Lexus/Infinity, 28450 Lorain Road, proposal to construct an Infinity <br />dealership adjacent to the Metro Lexus dealership. Mr. Paul Stoyariov was in <br />attendance. On May 6, B2A granted a variance with regard to eight pis. The ARB <br />approved the plan on May 19. The committee had no objection; htr~ever, amore <br />detailed site plan for drainage is needed. Mrs. Sarin,r moved to approve with <br />the recarlmer~atons of P1arn~arig Cormmssion, ARB and the Engineering Department; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed urn' ly. <br />d. Tire America, 25853 Lorain Road, formerly the hyper Store. The project <br />manager, Mr. Rowell, presented a revised site plan which included additional <br />landscaping, a 10 foot landscape buffer, encl. hatxiicappacl parking des. This <br />was approved by Planning Camsission on May 11 and by FRB on May 19. The BZD <br />Committee did not agree with the color scheme selected by ARB. The committee <br />changed the colors to a safety blue and safety red with a satin finish. Tire <br />America has agreed to a restrictive covenant, included. ;in which is an agreement <br />not to request a curb cut on Broolcpark Road. Mrs. Beringer moved to approve with <br />the recommendations of ARB, Planning Camnission and the BZD Cas~mittee; second by <br />Mr. Lind; oration passed unanimously. <br />e. Kahn's Cuisine, 23135 Lorain Road, a proposal to renovate the entrance area <br />of the restaurant. Ann Huang was in attendance. The Plarnzing Commission was to <br />act an this proposal on Jt~ 22. The color scheme has been approved by ARB. <br />There will be a six foot higk~ fence across the rear property line and hotmes on <br />the south side of the restaurant. Mrs. Beringer mowed to approve with the <br />recommendations regarding a property maintenance inspection, the dumpster and <br />lighting; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. McKay, Chairperson of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Commmittee, <br />reported: 1) The committee met on June 29 to discuss the following items: <br />a. Ordinance 93-84 which will prohibit truck traffic over 3/4 ton on Country <br />Club Boulevard from the service road south of Lorain Road to Victoria Lane. <br />This will not restrict the mall from being serviced by trucks. The commmittee <br />recommended approval. <br />b. Ordinances 93-90 and 93-91 which prohibit parking on Westview Drive from <br />Lorain Road south for 200 feet. Parked cars on the street make it difficult for <br />cars and school buses to turn from Lorain Road to Westview. The coc~mittee <br />recommended approval. <br />3 <br /> <br />
