The American Arbitration <br />Association has notified that they have picked an arbitrator to hear that case. <br />He will file a motion for a stay order with the Court of Common Pleas; however, <br />if the stay is not granted, the arbitration will proceed. <br />2) A pre-trial has been held on the Halleen case. The judge has not granted the <br />motion for a stay order which would have prevented Halleen's attorney from taking <br />the depositions of the members of the Board of Zoning Appeals. <br />3) City Prosecutor Don Albenze is ill. Since this is the first time in 192 years <br />that he has not been able to do the job, there is no provision for appointing an <br />Acting Prosecutor. Therefore, legislation. has been placed on the agenda to <br />provide for the appointment of an Acting Prosecutor who will be compensated at a <br />salary commensurate with the responsibilities. <br />Finance Director Burns reported: 1) Today the $250,000 note for the new fire <br />truck and the $260,000 note for Service Department equipment were sold for an <br />interest rate of 2.9X. <br />2) On the agenda is Resolution 93-74 dealing with the sharing of revenues with <br />local governments as it is addressed in the State budget. If the Governor's <br />suggested budget is adopted, it will cost the City of North Olmsted $49,950 this <br />year arxi approximately $100,000 in 1994. <br />Mrs. Beringer, Chairperson of the Building, Zoning and Development Committee, <br />reported: 1) A meeting was held on Tuesday, May 18, to discuss the Ground Round <br />2 <br />~~q <br />
