Council Minutes of 4/6/93 <br />apartments to be included will be 3,041. Yearly cost to the city will be <br />$60,714. Hopefully, the program will begin by May 1. <br />Mr. Lind, Chairperson of the Finance Committee, reported: 1) The committee met <br />jointly with Streets & Drainage on March 23 and in attendance were Mayor Boyle, <br />Mr. Burns, Mr. Wilamosky, Councilman Nashar, anti the committee members. Agenda <br />items were as follows: <br />a. Ordinance 93-24, which establishes an Economic Development Fund. This fiord <br />is being set up to receive fees from new businesses locating in the city. The <br />money will be earn~arked for economic development and used for any economic <br />related expense. The committee reco~mended approval. <br />b. Ordinance 93-26, which will extend benefits to administrative employees that <br />have been enjoyed by union employees. The committee recommerxled approval. <br />c. Ordinance 93-31, which authorizes the advertising for bids for rebuilding of <br />streets in the Deerfield subdivision. The cost is approximately $1.1 million to <br />do four streets. The second phase will be done next year, and the approximate <br />total cost will be more than $2 million. The co~mittee recommended approval. <br />d. Ordinance 93-32, which authorizes the advertising for bids for the Phase E- <br />1993 of the sanitary sewer rehabilitation program. Cost is between $1.7 and $1.8 <br />million, with $150,000 reserved for the Dover Lift Station repairs and $60,000 <br />reserved for videotaping sewer lines. Same streets to be dome are Carla, Noreen, <br />Vincent, LeBern, Frank and Alexander. The committee recdmended approval. <br />e. Ordinance 93-33, which establishes a special revenue fund, the Clague Park <br />Improvement Fund. Proceeds from the sale or development of the former Deerfield <br />North recreation area will be used for the rehabilitation and repair of the park. <br />Mr. Nashar, Chairperson of the Streets & Drainage Committee, reported: 1) The <br />committee met on April 5 and iri attendance were Service Director Bohl.mann and <br />Council Members Musial and Nashar. The following were discussed: <br />a. Ordinance 93-31, which is the street rehabilitation in Deerfield. Four <br />streets will be done: Deerfield Drive, Fawn Drive, Dawn Drive and Chase Drive. <br />The pavement of these streets will be replaced with a 7 inch reinforced concrete <br />pavement with vertical curbs. All the catch basins and associated storm laterals <br />will be replaced. Phase II in 1994 will include the following streets: Antler <br />Drive, Hunter Drive, Doe Drive and Dawn Circle. Dawn Circle will also be an <br />alternate for Phase I, depending on weather conditions and time constraints. <br />b.
