Council Minutes of 1/19/93 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 93-1 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. A <br />resolution establishing a B1~ Ribbon Committee to assist this Council in <br />developing a politically neutral method of establishing salaries for elected <br />public officials on an armual basis, with the results of said rec tiaras <br />to be the framework of a Charter amendment to be submitted to the electors in <br />November of 1.993, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-4 was introduced and placed c~ first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance to transfer and make appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1993. <br />Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings arxi coemttee <br />review; second by Mr. McKay; passed Laiani~ac~usly. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; <br />secorxi by Mr. McKay; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-4 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-5 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance changing the name of Service Road "A" from "Service Road A" to <br />"Cirmamon Way" in the City of North 0]msted. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 93-5 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 93-6 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Beringer. <br />A resolution accepting for recording purposes only the Cinnamon Woods Development <br />Plat in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 93-7 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for the construction of an unloading station at the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 93-8 was introduced and placed o~n first reading by Mr. Nashar. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for the videotaping of sewers at various locations in the city, as detailed <br />in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-10 was introduced and placed an first reading by Mr. Leonard. <br />An ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on .property <br />owned by National City Bank and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 232-28-58 by <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown an Exhibit "B" and <br />declaring an gnergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-11 was introduced ~d placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />emergency ordinance enacted b3' the City of North 07msted, Cuyahoga Coe~ty, Ohio, <br />hereinafter referred to as the municipality, in the matter of the hereinafter <br />described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga by <br />its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the County.
