Council Minutes of October 18, 1994 <br />agreed there was a shared responsibility and North Olmsted has and will continue to work <br />iirw~r with Fairview Park. Mr. Bohlmann said that he had spoken to residents on Esther <br />Avenue, who live near where the ditch turns east, and asked if there had been sanitary <br />debris in the ditches. Their answer was `5~0." <br />A~J~I~NCE PARTIC~AT~UN <br />Margaret McKay, 5197 Columbia Road, told the representatives from the Board of Health <br />that she would like to meet with them after the Council meeting to determine if they had <br />any information on the deer population being infected with disease-carrying tics. She is <br />concerned because the deer population in the city has grown consederably. <br />Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane, pointed out that there is an area of vacant land <br />bordering North Olmsted which has been designated a wetlands by the Army Corps of <br />Engineers. This may have some bearing on the mosquito problem <br />Yvonne Petrigac, 26653 Sweetbrier Drive, asked for an update on the relocation of <br />Route 252. Mayor Boyle said that the status was essentially the same as it had been far a <br />number of years. The City of Westlake is stdl bogging down the project. He has had <br />meetings with ODOT and as recently as yesterday with the City of Westlake. Mayor <br />Clough of Westlake does not believe anything wdl happen on Route 252 until <br />Crocker/Steams is completed. The Crocker/Steams project is not scheduled until 1998. <br />LEG~,SLATION <br />Ordinance No. 94-143 introduced by Mr. Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />installation of a traffic sap~al system at the interse#ion of Rim's No. 2 drive and Great <br />Northern Boulevard and declaring an emergency. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second <br />by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-143 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-144 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mrs. Beringer was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on <br />property owned by Cohu~ia Land Development Co~any and designated as Permanent <br />Parcel No. 236-5-97-100 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown <br />on Exhibit `B", and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second <br />by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-144 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-145 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mrs. Beringer was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on <br />property owned by B. & G. Limited Partnership and designated as Permanent Parcel No. <br />236-5-103 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit `B", <br />and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-145 adopted. <br />10 <br />
