Council Minutes of 10/4/94 <br />Mr. McKay, Chairperson of the Legislative Committee, reported: 1) The committee met <br />y- on October 4 and in attendance were Council Members Lind, Musial, McKay and <br />Personnel and Admni~xative Director Wilamosky. The committee di~ocuased Reaolution <br />94-150, which seeks to gain a grant for repays to the roof over the Recreation Center ice <br />rink. The estimated cost of this repair is approximately one hundred ten thousand dollars <br />and will inchule new panels, insulation, fascia and gutters. The comm~tee recommended <br />passage on suspension because the deadline for application submission is October 15. <br />Mr. Lmd, Chairperson of the Finance Committee, reported: 1) The committee met on <br />September 27 and in attendance were Counca7 Members McKay, Musial, bind, Limpert <br />and Nashar; Finance Director ButnS; Mayor Boyle; and Service Director BohUnann. The <br />committee discussed Resohrtion 94-127, the tax budget for fiscal 1995. The committee <br />recommended passage of the legislation. <br />Mr. Nashar, Chairperson of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee, reported: <br />1) The committee met on September 29 and in attendance were Council Members <br />Limpert, Musial, McKay, Nashar and Safety Director Kesler. The committee discussed <br />Ordinance 94-130, which provides for the installation of a `2To Right Turn on Red" saign at <br />the intersection of Mastick Road and Cohunba Road. The comrmttee recomded that <br />the legislation be amended to read `2To Right Turn on Red from 8 a.m to 6:30 p.m <br />Weekdays." <br />LEGLSLATION <br />Ordinance No. 94-114 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the sale of <br />surplus city owned real estate located at the west terminus of Beaumont Drive and <br />identified as Permanent Parcel Number 231-26-12 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's <br />records, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Nashar; motion passed unausly. Ordinance No. 94-114 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-115 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Prcblic Service to advertise for bids for the sale of <br />surplus city owned vacant property on the southwest side of Barton Road and situated to <br />the southeast side of Bradley Road and bearing Permanent Parcel Number 234-06-005, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-115 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-124 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into an agree~cnt for the purchase <br />of property located at 30374 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, moo, which property is the <br />subject of appropriation proceedings in the case entitled "City of North Olm~ed v. George <br />R Dancik, et aL Probate Court, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Case No. 11100419."
