Council Minutes of 6/21/94 <br />who voted against the proposal, had suggested that in the future the city will find this has <br />not been a positive move. Mrs. Schuler noted that a million more cars a year would be <br />coming into our city as a result of this store, and the city really does not have the room for <br />this traffic. Also, the residents would have preferred an all brick as wdl be built in <br />Strongsville. The resdents are grateful for the concessions that were grated, but they do <br />deserve them and also do deserve a brick building. She feels that Wa~a~ct does not <br />belong on that site--a bus is being put on a po~age stamp lot. The bult~g will be massive <br />and huge. The residents are concerned about the impact of this project on the remainder <br />of Brookpark. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resohztion No. 94-88 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the .Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for <br />improvements to the East Park area storm sewer as detailed in the specifications on file <br />and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an urgency. Mr. <br />Limpert moved for adoption; sec©nd by Mr. McKay; motion passed imanimous~ly. <br />Resohrtion No. 94-88 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-91 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />establishing the compensation, benefits and working conditions for salaried employees <br />employed at the North Ohed Municipal Bus Lme, who are not members of the North <br />Olmsted Transit Employees Association, collective bargaining unit, and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-91 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-44 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the City of North Olmsted to abate its cause of action against <br />Patricia J. Martin and James A. Bums, Director of Finance, for the illegal expenditure of <br />funds to Patricia J. Martin. <br />Resolution No. 94-93 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 3,000 tons of salt and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 94-94 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. A <br />resolution accepting for recording purpose only the Barton Oaks subdivision plat in the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-97 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 911.08 and 911.09 regarding sewer connections of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Ohmsted, Ohio. <br />9 <br />
