Council Minutes of 3/15/94 LEGISLATION (cantinued~ Resolution No. 94-47 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for one (1) 60' aerial lift truck with chipper body to include cab and chassis. Resolution No. 94-48 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for the widening and signalization of Butternut Ridge Road by the intersection of Kennedy Ridge Road as detailed in the specifications an file and autbe-rizing the Mayor to co~ract for same, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 94-54 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on behalf of the Mayor. A resolution recognizing March 13-19 as Tornado and Flood Safety Awareness Week and urging partic~ation in safety activities and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lmd moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 94-54 adopted. Ordinance No. 94-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer. An ordinance requesting and consentutg to a highway striping maintenance project by the County Engineer of Cuyahoga County and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Resident Robert Strnad asked the cost of this project. Mr. Lind explained that the city annually leases county equipment to do the string on city thoroughfares. The cost is approximately $30,000. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-55 adopted. Ordinance No. 94-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on behalf of Mr. McKay. An ordinance to amend Chapter 907 entitled "Street Vacations" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. Ordinance No. 94-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on behalf of Mr. McKay. An ordinance to amend Chapter 901 entitled "Excavations" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. Ordinance No. 94-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar on behalf of Mr. McKay. An ordinance to amend Chapter 903 entitled "Sidewalks" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. Ordinance No. 94-59 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer. An ordinance to amend Chapter 905 entitled "Driveways" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. 5
