Council Minutes of 3/1/94 <br />,~,,, LEGISLATION (continued) <br />w certain loans incurred, on or after January 1, 1987, to pay costs of constrtt#~ng <br />improvements to the municipal sanitary sewer system and to levy annually far a c~tinuing <br />period of time, beginning in tax year 1999, an additional tax at a rate not exG~ one- <br />half of one mill to provide fiords for certain municipal recreational purposes, and declari~-g <br />an emergency. Mr. Lord moved for adopfion; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordnance No. 94-45 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-12 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second readmg. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 509.1 i of the General Offenses Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 94-16 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordnance establishing the organisation and co~osition of the non-uniform, part-time <br />personnel of the Police Department and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 94-28 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for one (1) Combination <br />Sewer Cleaning Machine, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 94-29 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for two (2) 23,000 Ib. <br />~f°" GVWR Chassis (Low Profile), two (2) Super Duty Dump Bodies and Hoists, and two (2) <br />'~' 10' Power Angle Snow Plows, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-30 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 917.02 entitled `.,imitations on Wastewater Strength" of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Ordnance No. 94-32 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing Don Copeland to mare application on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted for Conununity Development Block Grant Funds for the fiscal year <br />1994 (20th) year, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspeaision of the <br />rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 94-32 adopted <br />Ordinance No. 94-33 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordnance identifying and designating an Improvement Target Area (ITA) for the City of <br />North Olmsted for fiscal year 1994, (20th year), Commwuty Development Block Cnrant <br />projects and for the Neighborhood Business District Revitalization Program, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. McKay noted that Ordinance Nos. 94-33, 94-34 and 94-35 had been <br />discussed in committee. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion <br />passed unanimously.
