Mayor Boyle said that we do have two inspectors who do drive-by <br />inspections of businesses where there have been problems. However, we do not have the <br />manpower to do continuous drive-bys throughout the cfty. On the rubbish: <br />contamers/dumpsters issue, Mr. Gareau said that, when developers present plans to the <br />city for approval, dumpsters are rewired to be enclosed w a fence. Mr. Gareau was <br />not familiar with Lakewood's ordi~ace, and the Mayor asked the Clerk of Council to <br />obtain a copy of Lakewood's ordffiance on enclosing dumpsters <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 94-18 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A resah~tion <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for the <br />improvement of the Oadord Oval Subdivision, as detailed in the ~ecificati~s on file, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lid nnved <br />for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 9418 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 94-19 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for the <br />improvement of Noreen Drive and Hawkins Avenue as detailed in the specifications on <br />file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Lmd moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Sarnger; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 94-19 adapted. <br />Resolution No. 94-20 introduced by Mr. Lmd was given its third reading. A resohrtion <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for the <br />improvement of Westchester Drive and Olmsted Drive as detailed in the ~ecifications on <br />file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 94-20 adopted. <br />Ordnance No. 94-21 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third readmg. An <br />ordnance declaring the necessity and intention of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to <br />appropriate certain real property m the city for the purpose of building a new senior <br />citizens center. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordnance No. 94-21 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 94-22 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for the <br />improvement of the Deerfield Subdivision, (Phase 2), as detailed in the specifications on <br />file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an urgency.
