Council Minutes of 1/4/94 <br />Mr. McKay, Chairperson of the Public Safety Health aril Welfare Canni.ttee, <br />reported: 1) Moved to approve a DSA liquor permit for Aztecs Inc., 24409 Lorain <br />Road, DBA Nuevo Acapulco; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />2) Moved to approve a liquor permit transfer frogn North OL~zeted Beverage Inc. , <br />30781 Lorain Road, DBA North Olmsted Drive-thru to R & A Beverages Inc., DBA <br />North Olmsted Beverage; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed lnanimously. <br />LEGISLATION <br />D~insnce No. 93-149 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 911.07 entitled "Building Sewers and Connections" of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed ~usly. Ordinance No. <br />93-149 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 93-156 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its secorxl reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />improvements at City Hall by converting an existing storage area into a <br />conference roan and data processing offices in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 93-157 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />improvements at Town Hall by remodeling offices, including electrical, mechanical <br />and other improvements at Town Ha11 in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-159 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of 54,100,000 notes, in anticipa- <br />tion of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring Springvale Country <br />Club, including land; the clubhouse, maintenance building and other structures <br />located thereon; fixtures, furnishings and equipment; sprinkler, underground <br />drainage and water distribution systems aril. related site improvements; all <br />together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, for use as a golf course and <br />recreational and community center. <br />Ordinance No. 93-160 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to establish within the Proprietary Fund Group a "Golf Course Fund" of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-1 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance agreeing to share in the project cost and agreeing to the future <br />maintenance of improvements for the city to participate in the State Transporta- <br />tion Enhancement Program for the construction of noise barriers, mounding and <br />landscaping along a portion of the proposed Crocker Road in North Olmsted. Mr. <br />Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings anei committee <br />review; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously.
