Council Minutes of 11/8/95 <br />Ordinance No. 95-150 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance amending the City of North Olmsted Codified Ordinances Section 947.01 <br />entitled "Rules and Regulations," in order to permit the city to enter into a concession <br />agreement for the purpose of selling food and beverages in city parks and to permit, <br />through express written pernussion of the city, nonprofit groups or organizations to enter <br />into concession agreements for the purpose of selling food and beverages in city parks for <br />limited special events. <br />Ordinance No. 95-151 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Ohio Council 8 and <br />Local #2681 of the American Federation of State, County and Munic~al EmQloyees, <br />covering Service and Wastewater Treatment Plant employees, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review; second by Mrs. Beringer; ~tic~nt passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-151 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-152 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, during the year 1996, all money due and owing said city from any collection source. <br />Ordinance No. 95-153 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposat of public monies <br />with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim <br />account of the city. <br />Resolution No. 95-154 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and <br />authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. <br />Ordinance No. 95-155 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance extending the exiling Cablevision of the Midwest, Inc. franchise agreement <br />with the City of North Olmsted for a period from November 15, 1995, until February 15, <br />1996, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 95-155 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-156 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Ohn~ed to enter into an agreement <br />with Polytech Inc. to provide engineering services for grading, drainage, paving and sewer <br />improvements for Virginia Avenue and Summerland Avenue. <br />v <br />7 <br />
