Council Minutes of 10/17/95 <br />Resolution No. 95-125 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. A <br />resohrtion requesting amendment be made to Substitute Senate Bill 188 which allows a tax <br />to be levied on all residents and businesses of Cuyahoga County for the benefit of one <br />area. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind. Roll call: McKay, yes; Lind, <br />yes; Miller, yes; Limpert, no; Music, yes; Nashar, yes; Saringer, yes. Motion passed with <br />six affirmative votes and one negative vote. Resolution No. 95-125 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-127 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, in a <br />maximum aggregate principal amount of $175,000 for the purpose of providing funds to <br />pay costs of the final }udgment rendered against the city in Civil Action Nu~er <br />1:95CV1109 in the United States D~xict Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Ea~ern <br />Division, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-127 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-129 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing that income generated from fees charged for the rendering of <br />emergency medical services and ambulance transportation by the North Olm~ed Fire <br />Department shall be deposited into the Hote~Motel Tax Fund to be used solely for the <br />purchase and/or retirement of debt for Fire Iepartment equipment, facilities and land. Mr. <br />Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 95-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-111 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading as <br />amended. An ordinance amending Section 1 and Section 3 of Ordinance No. 94-154 <br />entitled "An Ordinance Establishing Rates of Compensation. for Various Positions to Staff <br />North Olmsted Springvale Golf Course and Establish a Schedule of Benefits and <br />Compensation to be Paid to Members of that Staff," and declaring an emergency as <br />amended. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by <br />Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-111 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-130 introduced by the Mayor and entire Council was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance amending Section 161.01 (f) of the Administrative Code of the <br />City of North Olmsted, entitled "Payment of Accumulated Sick Leave Credit" as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 95-131 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all <br />part-time hourly employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Lme, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />6 <br />
