Council Minutes of 7!5/95 <br />explained that the city is working on a relief sewer project for Georgette Drive which will <br />correct the storm water flooding problems on Daaberry, Curtis, Phunvvood, Coe, Oak <br />Lane and other streets in that neighborhood. Engineering services are currently underway, <br />and the project should begffi in September or October. The plan is to intercept the storm <br />sewer system that leaves that entire area and run a relief sewer all the way down to <br />Brookpark Road and to Bxookpark culverts. <br />E. Rafferty, 4221 Phunwood Drive, also complained about flooding. Ills problem will be <br />corrected by the Georgette relief sewer project. <br />LEGLSLATION <br />Ordinance No. 95-$8 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing health care heaefits for non bargaining employees of the City of <br />North Olmsted and declaring an emergency as amended. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No, 95-88 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-33 introduced by Council Members Nashar, Limpert and Saringer was <br />given its third reading. An ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1353 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled Real Property Maintenance <br />Code. Mrs. Saringer moved to amend Ordinance 95-33 to include an emergency clause; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-33 on second <br />reading as amended: An ordinance adopting a new and revised Chester 1363 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled Real Property Maintenance <br />Code and declaring an emergency as anaendecl. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of the <br />Hiles requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. <br />Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimmusiy. <br />Ordinance No. 95-33 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-91 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the collection <br />of all sludge pickup at the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-93 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of the Mayor and Council was <br />given its second reading. A resolution petitioning the Ohio General Assembly to increase <br />the eligibility ceiling for the Homestead Exemption. <br />Ordinance No. 95-95 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 94-184 which had authorized the annexation of certain <br />unincorporated territory located in Olmsted Township to the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspensicm of the Hiles requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Musiat; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-95 <br />adopted. <br />6 <br />
