Council Minutes of 6/6/95 <br />Ordinance No. 95-72 introduced by Mr. Lmd was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $3,360,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of constructing, furnishing and equipping a fire station and <br />acquiring, preparing, improving and equipping its site, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readmgs; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-72 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-73 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $750,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of acquiring fire trucks, together with the necessary equipment and <br />appurtenances thereto, for use in carrying out functions of the Division of Fire of the <br />Department of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Miller moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Miller moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-73 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-74 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $700,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of improving the Recreation Center complex by surfacing and <br />resurfacing parking areas and driveways, providing related drainage improvements and <br />constructing a building to house maintenance equipment therefor, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-74 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-75 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $570,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment for use in carrying out <br />functions of the Department of Public Service, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nasliar; motion <br />passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-75 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-76 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $385,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment, together with the <br />necessary appurtenances thereto, for use in carrying out functions of the Department of <br />Public Service, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Miller; motion passed unanimously.
