Council Minutes of 6/6/95 <br />--- Ordinance No. 95-77 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />~' providing for the issuance and sale of $345,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of acquiring and installing computer equipment, including <br />networking hardware and software, personal computer work stations, printers, software <br />and cables, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. Nashaz; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Nashaz; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-77 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-78 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $250,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of improving the city's storm water drainage system by <br />rehabilitating and improving an existing storm water culvert located under South Barton <br />Road approximately 1,700 feet south of Lorain Road, related underground storm water <br />retention basins and related open dorm water drainage ditches and acquiring interests in <br />real estate therefor, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed unanimously. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 95-78 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-79 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $245,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of improving the city's park and recreational facilities by acquiring <br />and installing heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment for the Community <br />Cabin; by resurfacing with asphalt and curbing, and acquiring and installing street lighting <br />for, the Recreation Center parking lot and the driveway from Lorain Road to that parking <br />lot; by reconstructing and paving with concrete the existing walkway from Lorain Road to <br />the Recreation Center; and by draining and landscaping the Recreation Center site; all <br />together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Miller moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second <br />by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Miller moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-79 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-SO introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $150,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of improving the electrical system at city facilities andmstalling a <br />backup electrical system for the city's computer, telephone and emergency fighting <br />systems, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-80 <br />adopted. <br />6 <br /> <br />
