Council Minutes of 5/16/95
Mr. Nashar, Chairperson of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee: 1) The
committee met on Wednesday, May 10. In attendance were Council Members Saringer,
Musial, Limpert, McKay, Boehmer and Nashar and Safety Director Kasler. The
committee discussed Ordinance 95-61, which authorizes the installation of "No Parking"
signs at the cul-de-sac of Rt. 252 south of Butternut Ridge Road. The committee
recommended approval of the legislation as amended to limit the no parking hours from
7 p.m. to 6 a.m,
Mr. Limpert had no committee report but asked Mr. Burns when the audit would be
resolved. Mr. Burns replied that it could be as soon as Friday. The State Auditor's office
must give its approval in order for Gary Fink & Associates to be able to finalize the audit.
It is possible that legislation may be required, but that is not certain at this time. Mr.
Limpert then asked Mr. Burns if the Finance Committee had received the
revenue/expenditure printouts. Mr. Burns said that the printouts were currently available
to all Council Members and could be found on top of the mailboxes m the Council office.
Mr. Burns cautioned that the printouts would not reflect the deficit reduction numbers for
each line item. However, after the "reappropriation" is complete, the minus amounts will
have been allocated to the various line items which are going to absorb the reductions.
LEGISLATION
Ordinance No. 95-45 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading.
