Council Minutes of 2/21/95 <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. McKay announced that because of the recent discussions concerning the method of <br />voting by Council to fill vacancies, he would like to review the Rules of Council. He feels <br />that the Rules of Council contain conflicting language with regard to methods of voting on <br />various issues. As required by Rule 62, he is announcing his plan to discuss the Rules of <br />Council at a future Legislative Committee meeting. <br />Mrs. Saringer asked that the Clerk arrange for a public hearing on Ordinance 95-20. Also, <br />Mrs. Saringer reminded Council that the Building, Zoning and Development Committee <br />meeting would be held at 7 p.m on Thursday, February 23. <br />Mr. McKay announced that the Legislative Committee would meet at 7 p.m. on <br />Wednesday, February 22, and the combined Streets & Drainage/Finance Committee <br />meeting would be held on Monday, February 27. <br />Mr. Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for Monday, <br />February 27. Council will be notified of the time. Mr. McKay suggested that Mayor <br />Boyle or Mr. Bohlmann attend this meeting. <br />President Boehmer assigned Mr. Miller to be the Chairperson of the Recreation, Public <br />Parks and Buildings Committee and a member of the Environmental Control and <br />Transportation Committees. Also, Mr. Miller will serve on the Cable Advisory Board and <br />the Recreation Commission. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 9:26 p.m <br />Barbara L.
