Council Minutes of 1/17/95 <br />Ordmance No. 95-1 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />-_ f~~ ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by <br />changing the hereinafter described parcels of real property from General Retail Business <br />and Single Family Residence B District to Senior Residence District. <br />Ordinance No. 95-2 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication Al Moen Drive in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-3 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Patrolmen's <br />Benevolent Association, which agreement is the collective bargaining agreement between <br />the City of North Olmsted Correction Officers, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-4 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for cleaning services for various <br />municipal buildings, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-5 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for construction <br />of catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing and pavement repairs at various locations in the <br />City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-6 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids with an outside contractor <br />for the purpose of providing, on a contract basis, leaf pick-up service throughout the City <br />of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 95-7 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance establishing a new and revised Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances entitled <br />"Permit and Inspection Fees" and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-8 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on behalf <br />of himself and the entire Council. A resolution commending the public service of Patricia <br />D. Bahas, Councilwoman at Large in the City of North Olmsted. The resolution was read <br />in its entirety, and Mrs. Bahas received congratulations and best wishes from all present. <br />Mrs. Bahas thanked everyone and said that it had been a privilege serve as part of the <br />democratic form of government. She has many wonderful memories of North Olmsted <br />that she will take with her to her new home. Mr. Nashar moved to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Saringer. Motion passed <br />unanimously with Mrs. Bahas abstaining. Mr. Nas~har moved for adoption; second by <br />Mrs. Saringer. Motion passed unanimously with Mrs. Bahas abstaining.
