Council Minutes of 12/17/96 <br />~,;, Ordinance No. 96-184 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />~~. ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to receive bids for labor and materials <br />for installing window treatments, wall coverings, carpeting, furniture and other <br />appurtenances at the administrative building, without public bidding and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved to table; second by Mr. McKay. Roll call: Lind, no; <br />McKay, yes; Nashar, yes; Limpert, yes; Musial, yes; Saringer, yes; O'Grady, yes. The <br />motion passed with six affirmative votes and one negative vote. Ordinance No. 96-.184 is <br />tabled. <br />Resolution No. 96-187 introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer. A <br />resolution opposing the State of Ohio being selected as the receiver of hazardous <br />radioactive nuclear waste from six midwestern states and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-188 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of Mayor Boyle and the entire Council. An ordinance to make appropriations for <br />current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending <br />December 31, 1997. <br />Ordinance No. 96-189 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 911.09 entitled "Sewer Connections; Tap-in Permit, Fee and <br />Penalty" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Ordinance No. 96-190 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance accepting one (1) storm sewer easement located in the Coe lateral ditch in the <br />City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-191 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance to amend Section 901.07 entitled "Treelawn Openings; Permit and Fee" of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Resolution No. 96-192 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for an addition <br />and alterations at the Police Station as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-193 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1996. <br />Ordinance No. 96-194 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar.
