Council Minutes of 10/15/96 <br />,.,, Cablevision are two separate companies with two separate franchise agreements and two <br />,~, separate ways of transmitting. Mr. Nashar commented that he had spoken to the <br />Americast contractor and was told that the trenching for the cables will go down 24 inches <br />and will not interfere with sprinkling systems. However, if damage should occur, it will be <br />repaired. Also, any damage to lawns or landscaping will be repaired. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 96-164 introduced by Mr. Nashar on behalf of Mr. McKay was given its <br />second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for <br />bids for the collection of all refuse in the City of North Olmsted, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-165 introduced by Mr. Nashar on behalf of Mr. McKay was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance to amend Section 917.02 entitled "Limitations on <br />Wastewater Strength" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Resolution No. 96-166 introduced by Mrs. Saringer on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for <br />bids for 5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-167 introduced by Mr. Musial on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />` second reading. An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1996. <br />Resolution No. 96-168 introduced by Mr. Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing accepting for recording purpose only the Beaumont Place <br />subdivision plat in the City of North Olmsted and declaring an emergency. Mr. Musial <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 96-168 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-169 introduced by Mr. Musial on behalf of Mr. O'Grady was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances by adopting current <br />replacement pages and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Musial; motion <br />passed unanimously.
