An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $3,440,000 for the purpose of constructing, furnishing and equipping a fire station and <br />acquiring, preparing, improving and equipping its site. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-130 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $2,530,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the city's street <br />system by grading, draining, reconstructing the pavement base, widening, constructing, <br />reconstructing and rehabilitating berms, catch basins, curbs, driveway aprons, sanitary <br />sewers and sanitary sewer service connections, sidewalks, storm sewers and water mains <br />and water service connections, installing street lighting and preparing the surface and <br />surfacing and resurfacing, where necessary, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and acquiring real estate and interests in real <br />estate in connection therewith. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-130 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-131 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $970,000 for the purpose of improving the city's park and recreational facilities by <br />acquiring and installing heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment for the <br />Community Cabin and improving the Recreation Center complex by surfacing and <br />resurfacing parking areas and driveways and providing curbs, related drainage <br />improvements, landscaping and lighting therefor, reconstructing and paving with concrete <br />the existing walkway from Lorain Road to the complex and constructing a building to <br />house maintenance equipment therefor on its site, all together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-131 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-132 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $895,000 for the purpose of improving the city's storm water drainage system by <br />constructing, reconstructing and otherwise improving storm sewers, culverts, retention <br />basins and other storm water drainage facilities, together with the necessary appurtenances <br />and work incidental thereto.
