Council Minutes of 9/17/96 <br />Ordinance No. 96-133 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $815,000 for the purposes of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment, together with <br />the necessary appurtenances thereto, for use in carrying out functions of the Department <br />of Public Services and acquiring motor vehicles, including four pick-up trucks and three <br />automobiles, for use in carrying out city services and functions. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-133 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-134 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $770,000 for the purpose of acquiring fire trucks, together with the necessary <br />equipment and appurtenances thereto, for use in carrying out functions of the Division of <br />Fire of the Department of Public Safety. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-134 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-135 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $365,000 for the purpose of improving the city administration complex by renovating, <br />remodeling, rehabilitating and otherwise improving the Town Hall, remodeling, furnishing <br />and equipping the City Hall, improving the electrical system serving the complex and <br />installing aback-up electrical system for the city's computer, telephone and emergency <br />lighting systems and constructing a canopy to cover the fuel pump island on the site <br />thereof, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 96-135 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-136 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $355,000 for the purpose of acquiring and installing computer equipment, including <br />networking hardware and software, personal computer work stations, printers, software <br />and cables, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto. Mr. Musial moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-136 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-137 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount <br />of $260,000 for the purpose of improving the city's storm water drainage system by <br />rehabilitating and improving an existing storm water culvert located under south Barton <br />Road approximately 1,700 feet south of Lorain Road, related underground storm water <br />retention basins and related open storm water drainage ditches and acquiring interests in <br />real estate therefor, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-137 adopted. <br />13 <br /> <br />
