An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $2,530,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the city's <br />street system by grading, draining, reconstructing the pavement base, widening, <br />constructing, reconstructing and rehabilitating berms, catch basins, curbs, driveway <br />aprons, sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer service connections, sidewalks, storm sewers <br />and water mains and water service connections, installing street lighting and preparing the <br />surface and surfacing and resurfacing, where necessary, in each case together with the <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and acquiring real estate and <br />interests in real estate in connection therewith. <br />Ordinance No. 96-131 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $970,000 for the purpose of improving the city's park and recreational facilities <br />by acquiring and installing heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment for the <br />Community Cabin and improving the Recreation Center complex by surfacing and <br />resurfacing parking areas and driveways and providing curbs, related drainage <br />improvements, landscaping and lighting therefor, reconstructing and paving with concrete <br />the existing walkway from Lorain Road to the complex and constructing a building to <br />house maintenance equipment therefor on its site, all together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 96-132 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $895,000 for the purpose of improving the city's storm water drainage system <br />by constructing, reconstructing and otherwise improving storm sewers, culverts, retention <br />basins and other storm water drainage facilities, together with the necessary appurtenances <br />and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 96-133 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $815,000 for the purposes of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment, together <br />with the necessary appurtenances thereto, for use in carrying out functions of the <br />Department of Public Services and acquiring motor vehicles, including four pick-up trucks <br />and three automobiles, for use in carrying out city services and functions. <br />Ordinance No. 96-134 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $770,000 for the purpose of acquiring fire trucks, together with the necessary <br />equipment and appurtenances thereto, for use in carrying out functions of the Division of <br />Fire of the Department of Public Safety. <br />Ordinance No. 96-135 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading.
