Council Minutes of 7/2/96 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 96-96 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on property owned by <br />Franchise Operations, Inc. and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 232-33-20 by <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit "B" and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-96 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-97 introduced by Mayor Boyle and the entire Council was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of <br />North Olmsted of an amendment to Article V, Section 6 of the Charter, providing rule- <br />making authority to the Director of Human Resources, making the Administrator of the <br />Division of Aging an appointee of the Director of Human Resources, and making other <br />changes which render the language of Section 6 gender neutral and which designate <br />persons formerly referred to as "physically and mentally handicapped" as "physically and <br />mentally challenged," and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-97 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-98 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 749.03 entitled "Exemptions" of Chapter 749 entitled <br />"Massage Establishments" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted and <br />declaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-98 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-99 introduced by Mr. McKay and Mr. Musial was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North <br />Olmsted of an amendment to Article VII, Section 4(b) of the Charter, prohibiting the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals from granting use variances, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 96-99 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-103 introduced by Mr. Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting three (3) storm drainage easements located adjacent to the Ehle Ditch <br />(south of Edgepark Boulevard, crossing Blossom Boulevard) in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-104 introduced by Mr. Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting three (3) storm drainage easements required for the Georgette <br />Avenue/Brendan Lane sewer improvement project in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />~t <br />7 <br />..:r W . ,~«. w <br />
