Council Minutes of 6/4/96 <br />Ordinance No. 96-92 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />~„ ordinance ratifying and confirming the sale of city owned property known as Fire Station <br />No. 1 (at Lorain Road and Great Northern Boulevard) and authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into a contract on behalf of the city for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-93 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 541.05 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Criminal Trespass," in order to provide a misdemeanor penalty for <br />unauthorized skate boarding on private property, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 96-94 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />improvements to Old Town Hall and data processing offices at City Hall as detailed in the <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-96 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on property owned by <br />Franchise Operations, Inc. and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 232-33-20 by <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit "B" and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-97 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. An ordinance providing for the submission to the <br />electors of the City of North Olmsted of an amendment to Article V, Section 6 of the <br />Charter, providing rule-making authority to the Director of Human Resources, making the <br />Administrator of the Division of Aging an appointee of the Director of Human Resources, <br />and making other changes which render the language of Section 6 gender neutral and <br />which designate persons formerly referred to as "physically and mentally handicapped" as <br />"physically and mentally challenged," and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-98 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer. An <br />ordinance amending Section 749.03 entitled "Exemptions" of Chapter 749 entitled <br />"Massage Establishments" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-99 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf <br />of himself and Mr. Musial. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of <br />the City of North Olmsted of an amendment to Article VII, Section 4(b) of the Charter, <br />prohibiting the Board of Zoning Appeals from granting use variances, and declaring an <br />emergency. , <br />Ordinance No. 96-100 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1139.06 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled "Lot <br />Area and Width" of Chapter 1139 entitled "Business Districts." <br />6 <br />,w~ ,~~ ., .,r <br />
