<br />Ordinance No. 96-75 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An
<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $4,100,000 notes, in anticipation of the
<br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring Springvale Country Club, includmg land
<br />and the clubhouse, maintenance building and other structures located thereon, fixtures,
<br />fiunishings and equipment, sprinkler, underground drainage and water distribution systems
<br />and related site improvements, all together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, for
<br />use as a golf course and recreational and community center, and declaring an emergency.

<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $3,830,000 notes, in anticipation of the
<br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the city's
<br />street system by grading, draining, reconstructing the pavement base, preparing the
<br />surface and surfacing and resurfacing, constructing, reconstructing and rehabilitating catch
<br />basins, curbs, driveway aprons, sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer service connections,
<br />sidewalks, storm sewers and water mains and water service connections and installing
<br />street lighting, all where necessary, together with necessary appurtenances and work
<br />incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the
<br />rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr.

<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $3,360,000 notes, in anticipation of the
<br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of constructing, furnishing and equipping a fire station
<br />and acquiring, preparing, improving and equipping its site, and declaring an emergency.

<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,045,000 notes, in anticipation of the
<br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment, together
<br />with the necessary appurtenances thereto, for use in carrying out functions of the
<br />Department of Public Services and acquiring motor vehicles, including four pick-up trucks
<br />and three automobiles, for use in carrying out city services and functions, and declaring an
<br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second
