Council Minutes of 5/7/96 <br />Ordinance No. 96-63 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a contract <br />with Perram Electric Inc., for additional improvements to the closed loop traffic signal <br />system, without public bidding, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-64 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to all part-time Parks and Recreation <br />Department personnel and repealing Ordinance No. 86-50, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-65 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. Mr. Lind <br />noted that the Fiscal Officer's Certificates were attached to Ordinance Nos. 96-65 through <br />96-71. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $3,975,000 notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving the city's sanitary <br />sewerage system and its functions by constructing and reconstructing sanitary sewers and <br />pumping and retention facilities and by constructing and reconstructing storm sewers and <br />other storm water drainage facilities and improvements to control and limit the vohune of <br />storm water entering or otherwise affecting the sanitary sewerage system, together in all <br />cases with any necessary appurtenances and the performance of any incidental work. <br />Ordinance No. 96-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $2,470,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the city's <br />street system by grading, draining, recon~ructing the pavement base, widening, <br />constructing, reconstructing and rehabilitating berms, catch basins, curbs, driveway <br />aprons, sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer service connections, sidewalks, storm sewers <br />and water mains and water service connections, installing street lighting and preparing the <br />surface and surfacing and resurfacing, where necessary, in each case together with the <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and acquiring real estate and <br />interests in real estate in connection therewith. <br />Ordinance No. 96-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of constructing, fiunishing, equipping and otherwise <br />improving an addition to the city's police station and preparing and improving the site <br />thereof. <br />Ordinance No. 96-68 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving the city's storm water drainage system by <br />constructing a storm water retention basin and necessary appurtenances thereto. <br />9 <br /> <br />
