Council Minutes of 4/2/96 <br />~„ OSV Productions proposal subject to recommendations by the Planning Commission and <br />Architectural Review Board, approval of the landscape plans by the city forester and <br />approval by the Engineering Department of the engineering site plans. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Nashar and unanimously passed. Mr. Nashar commented that the <br />developer had stated the property on Lorain and Christman which was formerly a Dairy <br />Mart store would eventually be renovated and a new face lift to the front will be added. <br />f. Alexander's restaurant, 30850 Lorain Road. Extensive discussions on this proposal <br />have taken place in the Planning Commission and Architectural Review Board. The <br />proposal was approved with the stipulations that down lights be installed in the rear of the <br />building, a 2 1/2 foot mound be included in the front along Lorain Road, the rooftop units <br />and barrier be screened, the compressor be soundproofed and that the wiring for the future <br />ground sign be installed before paving is completed and the drainage plan must be <br />reviewed and accepted by the Engineering Department. Mr. Musial moved that the <br />proposal for Alexander's restaurant be approved subject to the recommendations of the <br />Planning Commission, Architectural Review Board and city forester and that the <br />engineering site plan be submitted and approved by the Engineering Department and that <br />the mansard be installed by the end of the year. The motion was seconded by Mr. McKay <br />and unanimously passed. Mr. Nashar noted that the owner, Dr. Patel, had agreed to <br />supply security should problems arise in the future. Mr. Limpert noted that the <br />establishment will not have live bands which have caused disturbances in the past. <br />g. Fortney-Weygandt, 31269 Bradley Road, a minor change proposal to construct a <br />storage building at the rear of the property. The BZD Committee had previously sent this <br />back to the Planning Commission for review. The Planning Cornmic¢ion recommended <br />that it be approved with the stipulation that, if any lighting is installed on the building, it <br />must be awall-washing type down light that is shielded to the neighbors and that the <br />exterior will match the existing building. Mr. Musial moved to approve the forage s1~ed <br />to be constructed at the rear of the Fortney-Weygandt property contingent and subject to <br />the recommendations of the Planning Commission. The motion was seconded by Mr. <br />Nashar and unanimously passed. <br />h. High Tech Pools proposal to construct an office-warehouse facility on sublot 11 in the <br />North Olmsted Industrial Park. This proposal has been reviewed by the Planning <br />Commission and Architectural Review Board and several extensive technical type <br />recommendations were made. Mr. Musial moved to approve the High Tech Pools <br />proposal to construct an office-warehouse facility in sublot 11 of North Olmsted Industrial <br />Park subject to the recommendations of the Planning Commission and Architectural <br />Review Board, approval of the landscape plan by Mr. Zergott and submission of <br />engineering site plans to and approval of such plans by the Engineering Department. The <br />motion was seconded by Mr. McKay and unanimously passed. <br />i. Christ the King Church proposal to combine P. P. Nos. 234-12-1 through 5 and a lot <br />split of P. P. Nos. 234-12-22 and 23. The Planning Commission approved the proposal. <br />Mr. Musial moved to approve the consolidation plat proposal by Christ the Kmg Church. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Nashar and unanimously passed. <br /> <br />4 <br />
