Council Minutes of 3/5/96 <br />Ordinance No. 96-40 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. to provide engineering services pertaining to the <br />biological monitoring requirements of the 1995 NPDES permit as required by the Ohio <br />EPA and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-41 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Dennis A. Seifert & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering services <br />pertaining to drainage improvements for the Woodside Deepwoods area and the Duane <br />Road area, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-42 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1995. <br />Resolution No. 96-39 was uitroduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of <br />asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. <br />Lind moved for adoption; second. by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 96-39 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 96-43 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf <br />of Mayor Boyle. A resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor to submit and seek <br />financial assistance from. the Ohio EPA for funding for the Georgette Avenue sanitary and <br />storm sewer improvement project, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-44 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. to provide engineering services pertaining to the <br />development of a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system for the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant and sanitary sewer system as required by the Ohio EPA, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-45 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company, Inc. to provide <br />construction observation services for various 1996 capital improvement projects, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />
